Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant came home on 13 th March 2005, after about seven months on the singing trail.

Here is abhijeet Sawant with his father and mother. A large number of people gathered at Shahu Nagar in Dharavi, northcentral Mumbai, to welcome their hero. Abhijeet, who used to sing at the Ganesh and other festivals in Shahu Nagar, has made his area famous. Abhijeet met his parents, friends, neithbours and relatives and stayed home for about three hours.
