Abhijeet Sawant's 'Lottery' Set To Hit Theaters This Friday

The first Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant created a rage in India after winning the title. His melodious voice and ever smiling face won him many female fans. Unlike other winners of reality show, Abhijeet never went out of sight and mind of people. After winning the show, he won the 1 Crore contract with Sony and released his first solo album Aapka Abhijeet Sawant, which was a huge hit. Also his second album Junoon proved as success.

Now the actor is trying his hand with acting. His debut film as actor- Lottery is about release this Friday on 20th March. Lottery is a small budget film, directed by television director Hemant Prabhu. Abhijeet Sawant plays a lead actor opposite two female newcomers Rucha Gujarati and Manisha Kelkar.

Lottery depicts story of a young boy, who comes to Mumbai to fulfill his dream. The young boy is played by Abhijeet Sawant. In the race of being an instant millionaire he plays one gamble. The film shows the journey of a boy to fulfilling his dream. Abhijeet also has sung some songs of the film.

Shooting for the film was started a year back and now it's ready to hit the theaters. On Friday it will face competition from four other films Barah Aana, Aloo Chaat, Straight and Firaaq.
