Rahul Vaidya beats Abhijeet Sawant on 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar'

The show (Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar) started on April 18 on Star Plus TV channel and now it is ended with Rahul Vaidya winning the trophy. To win the 'Superstar' title Rahul beat his competitors Abhijeet Sawant and Harshit Saxena. Abhijeet Sawant and Harshit Saxena were declared as the second and third winners respectively.

Interestingly, Rahul and Abhijeet were finalists of first the season of Indian Idol. Previously, Abhijeet had beaten Rahul on the sets of Indial Idol, but today Rahul has beaten Abhijeet and Harshit with 2,16,693 votes to win the title. Abhijeet and Harshit got 2,02,321 and 1,56,291 votes respectively.

All the 18 participants of the JJVS show were the finalists (winners and runner-ups) of previous reality shows like Indial Idol, Fame Gurukul, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Star Voice Of India. The concept was to identify the best among best. The show was judged by musical duo Vishal-Shekhar and choreographer/director Farah Khan. However, the show was hosted by the glamorous Madira Bedi.
