Abhijeet Sawant to host season 5 of Indian Idol

In the first season of Indian Idol, we had seen Abhijeet Sawant sometimes under pressure, while the other time setting the stage on fire with his singing and smile. This time we will see him much relaxed and encouraging young aspirants on the same platform in the form of a host. The fifth season of the popular show is about to start and Abhijeet will be hosting the show along with another strongest female contender of Indian Idol 1, Prajakta Shukre. The duo replaces the seasoned hosts Mini Mathur and Hussain.

Like every year, Anu Malik will be judging the show this time too. However, there are two new judges - talented singer Shreya Ghoshal and Loy from musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
