Like many other singers trying their luck in acting, Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant is also trying his hand in acting. This India's favorite singer is making his acting debut with film 'Lottery'.

The other cast of Lottery include Manisha Kelkar and Rucha Gujarati. It will be produced under 3S Creations' and will be directed by television director Hemant Prabhu. The film is a romantic thriller, which tells the story of young boy who came to Mumbai with a dream to make it big. It's about his journey.

Abhijeet will also do playback singing for the film along with today's big singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal. Music for the film is given by Santokh Singh of Channa Vey... fame.
